No other bareboat this well equipped available in the Bay of Islands!
This boat joined our fleet new in March 2008 and is the leading
design in Elan's cruising range. With a generous internal volume
and spacious accommodation, it's lines are nevertheless performance
minded with emphasis on easy and rapid cruising. The semi-deck saloon
layout offers good visibility from below and the large overhead
windows give an open and airy feel to the saloon. The very large
aft cabin has a queen size island bed and en-suite head with separate
shower. There is a smaller double berth forward, and an additional
twin berth cabin means that the kids don't have to share a bed!
The spacious galley offers a three burner stove with oven, plus
refrigerator and separate freezer. The 75hp main engine drives the
hull at an easy 7 knots and the 4 kVA generator means no annoying
running of the main engine at anchor to charge the batteries. There's
plenty of space on deck too, with a large cockpit and twin wheels
giving uninterrupted access to the swim platform. A spray dodger
and bimini are there if needed to keep the elements at bay. Our
434 comes with extra fearures such as in boom furling mainsail with
electric halyard winch, bow thruster and even diesel heating to
take the chill off those winter nights!
